I was able to spend some time in Chicago with my mom this past week. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful! The first night we went to the musical "Wicked". It was amazing! I highly recommend it - it's a story of the witches of the Wizard of Oz. Very, very enjoyable.
The next day we took in Navy Pier. This is taken inside the garden.

The last day we treated ourselves to a pedicure. It was so wonderful to have a quick getaway to spend time with my mom! Thanks to my wonderful hubby for letting me go!

Oh Jill, those times are so precious and something that you will cherish forever! It is so fun to get away and just bond as friends :) I'm glad that you were able to do that!
Looking at your pictures bring back many memories of our time together with mom for her birthday! Those are times to treasure forever!!:) So glad your hubby let you get away! We have the best husbands don't we???
Looks like so much fun (except for the big ole wheel! That would've scared me silly). The play looked really neat! How fun for you and your mom.
