Spring Break

We enjoyed a nice little getaway earlier this week. The kiddos are on spring break from school, so we took advantage of the time off and headed to the Great Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin Dells. Paul made my day on Sunday when he said we could leave early (we were going to leave on Monday) and stay a night in Madison to visit Adam and Kelly Love! We had so much fun at their beautiful house. We even stayed up until about 4 am playing Settlers - these are people after our own hearts! :) The kids had so much fun that I even heard one of them say "Can we just stay here and not go to the waterpark?" Now that is high praise!

All the kiddos (except Chloe) had a slumber party

The marble run was a hit

We made it to the Great Wolf on Monday and enjoyed three days of swimming and water slides. My body was so sore from going down countless water slides with Noah. He is just tall enough to go down the big slides, and he had a blast! Noah and I went down one water slide about ten times in a row, and there were 79 steps to get to the top (Noah counted :) ), so I was one sore mama.

Accessories make the outfit

Olivia loved the wave pool

It was hard to get a clear picture of Noah because he was in constant motion!

Chloe especially loved the chairs. :)

Looks like you all have had a fun Easter/spring break! That's so nice! It's good to get away, isn't it? Love ya!

Looks like fun. Our kids love to stay in hotels.
Our spring break this year involved removing tonsils...blek!

I am so jealous that you guys got to get together with the Loves and play Setters! I know Kelly LOVED having you guys visit. Our kids love Great Wolf Lodge also, but I was pregnant so I couldn't enjoy the big slides or the countless steps up to them :) It was a good excuse!

It looks like your family had a lot of fun! Hmmm popcorn in a coffee pot. I wish my coffee maker brewed popcorn!

Hey Jill, you asked if I was tanned, and NO! I don't put sunblock on and don't get anything. Matt and Jack are all slathered with 60+ spf, and I'm trying to get some sun, and it didn't work too well for me. Oh well- the sun was still nice.

Did Chloe go in the water at all or just when you made her? :)

Pretty much just when we made her. She did walk on the edge of the wave pool a little by herself, but she rarely let the water touch her! She was content just to watch. :)

That resort looked so neat. We are definitely going to have to do that with the boys. Thanks for stopping by our place. It was so WONDERFUL to spend time with you. We can't wait for the Settler rematch! :)
